The internet is the largest library in the world. Like most libraries, the content within is free or available for a marginal fee. The menu below leads to hundreds of links to resources that I have found useful in my teaching career to middle school and high school students. Each of these links are available to the public for free.
Most libraries are supported by funds raised by taxes. However, the internet is funded through three different business models. First, there is advertisements that businesses pay for. Second, there are website that viewers need to pay for a subscription. The last model is through an optional payment plan where viewers support the creators of content via a monthly payment, often for as little as one dollar a month.
